My dog just got hit by a car, she's in really bad condition, so my mom gave me some to calm me down. I wasn't able to even leave the house when it happened and now since she's home again from the vet I'm stuck cuddling her.

I can't even go to work.

From what the doc said, I've gathered that her spinal cord has ruptured in a small spot causing intense pressure on her spine and messing with her nerves. Hopefully she recovers on her own or it doesn't hurt her much so she'll be able to live longer, but she's slowly being paralyzed and her chances of full recovery are next to nothing. She'll never be able to walk right again if she does live.

Basically by next thursday I have to make a decision whether to put her down or get her to Texas so I can get her the help she needs.

The surgery isn't 100% successful, and it costs $6,400.

I was hoping to try and sell art to try and raise the money, but there's no way I'd make that amount in that time.

I'm basically a sniveling mess and I can't stand to type anymore.
