Drawn circa 2002; by now, a five-year old pencil sketch of my fantasy bird-people. Like the dracans before them, Aerissan physiology is so extremely avian-based that it's difficult to notice any anthropomorphic qualities at all. They also measure at almost the same height and (definitely) intelligence as humans, and are able to speak in human tongues (in addition to their innate ability to communicate with the smaller bird species).

And don't ask how to tell an Aerissan male apart from a female, it seems only they know.
