I think I like them so much cause it's like....a perfect bluur of the 1st gen and FiM to me, not too "barbie" and not too "pudgy" (though i love my 1stgenners <3)

And it's, in my opinion, a very unique presentation and style from all the other Brony-artists too, which makes it a nice change <3

Well I don't know if it's first gen influence so much as the fact that for osome reason, when I see your ponies, I don't think "bratz" o.O If that makes sense...and it also just feels different too, it's not like complete clones of the show or anything. Plus you are really good at capturing expressions ^_^

That's weird. I've never collected the Bratz dolls and I've never watched the first gen mlp or collected those dolls either. I never even looked either up for reference.

I'm glad to hear you say that you like that they aren't clones. I was fretting that people wouldn't like my ponies because they don't look the same as the show and hadn't actually planned to share any of my fan art because of it. I cannot get down the show's style very well and I was sulking to my buddy the other day because of it. I almost deleted my Princess Luna and Derpy pictures.

Thanks. After I had a commissioner say he hated that I drew his character looking sad when he was supposed to be confused I've been wondering if my expressions were clear. My friends all understood what I drew but they know me really well so I wasn't sure if that was the reason.

I said I don'tthink bratz lol. For some reason the first time I saw FiM ponies, it really bothered me. I've gotten mostly over that now, but youu are still one of my fave pony artists because yours do NOT make me think that.

No please continue drawing, being a fan of things can be expressed in many different ways - and personally, we have plenty of artists who got the show-style down. It's refreshing to see someone of your talent give them a fresh look!

Nah, I have always loved your expressions. I know me, I am kinda fail at them, it's something I am working on. You are definitely someone I look up to in that respect

Oops. Sorry, I haven't been to bed yet. I guess my brain is getting fuzzy. I really like the FiM art style myself but I'm not a huge fan of the original because they don't look so much like ponies in the original style in my opinion. I know a lot of people who like that style more than FiM though.

That's very nice to hear on both comments. I can honestly say you're the first person to tell me that they look up to anything I do art wise. It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

The longer, broader muzzles of the first gen ponies makes me think of mules XD

I love this, it's too adorable! X3 I was just discussing Zebra names with my boyfriend, since "Zecora" doesn't follow the usual naming patterns, we wondered what an appropriate Zebra name would be. However, I think Puddle Duck has got to be one of the cutest names I've ever heard for a pony. :D
