Dadriel grabbed one of the boxes that stood on the ground at the bottom of the stairs. “Phew, one of the lighter ones..” he said to himself, as he lifted it an turned around to bring the box outside. On his way out, he walked into his friends Aku and Joe, who came up to him. “Hey, burd! We.. came to help you out.” Aku chuckled as he winked at Joe, who grinned and turned to his birdy friend: “Yeah, and we also thought you would looove~ some nice company before you leave~” - “Aww, thank you, guys. That’s nice of you, but.. I don’t have that much stuff and the rest, I really can carry to the car by myself..” Dadriel tried to make his way past the two friends but they stopped him. Joe showed him a box he brought with him and shook it. “Look, dear, we brought some.. equipment with us and I bet you do not want to miss this.” The gryphon giggled with amusement. “Also, dear buurrrd~” the dragon added with a grin “we’re not going to see each other for a looong time so we wanted to make you a special gift and make a lasting memory.” The kestrel looked at Joe, then tilted his head and looked to Aku: “... the hell are you talking about, guys?”

The problem with the speech bubbles is that they do not make any sense translated to English. 'Cause in German they kinda have a double meaning.
akulatraxas and I have developed this picture together. We wanted to give dadriel sort of a gift, because he's moving to Stuttgart this weekend. And that's far from here. :O
Yeah, we really had to rack our brains over it! It's not easy to create short phrases with intended double meaning. Also, We developed an anthro kestrel, because we need him.. later. :>
So, the little burd figured out pretty fast, that this is just one part of the gift. There's going to be more. :> and it's going to be fun. :>
(it just has to be drawn yet..)
