If you haven't heard of Eyvind Earle, you might want to look him up. ^^ He did backgrounds for Sleeping Beauty, among other things, and you might find his work inspiring.
At least to me it does seem perhaps a bit too heavy on the greens & yellow. Maybe just working a bit more red or blue in to break it up might help. Especially on that foreground log -- seems a bit odd that it's entirely green.
Otherwise, neat use of textures. ^^ Definitely has an atmosphere to it!

oh wow! this is so god! looks like a photograph!
Looks perfect, but I was thinking you add stress to the trees, like claw or antler marks, missing bark and stuff like that and maybe add some 3D effects too.
also, maybe add some small wildlife like 1 small deer or a frog or something so it looks more alive and draws your eye completely around the picture, and to add something cute or give a greater wild feel, not just the woods behind a subdivision
hope this helps you and I'm not getting too critical, but overall, I really like the amount of detail, the tree branches and leaves are fantastic, and the greanish yellow give it a nice swampy atmosphere.
