Just finished modifying the pattern to look better, and I pinned the head on the body. I found the neck needed to be elongated and eyeballed it and slapped it on.
A few more adjustments are to be made, but I think this is going to be a lovely pony plush!
These guys are kinda big now that I see all of it put together. I think they will roughly be a foot and a half tall not including and mane, ears or horns.
(other side of pony is altered and not stuffed completely. That's why it looks like poo.)
:D
Thank you all that have helped with comments and other helpful stuffs! <333

They are stuffed pretty tight, yeah. The other side has them thinner and it kinda makes it looks.. I dunno like a deer or like toothpicks so I dunno if it is my pattern or the fact I keep messing with it. D:
Thanks! I hope to have a few ponies done in a few days, life pending.

xD But they are true! I work 4 days in a row, after just working 4 days in a row.. D:
Just need to make sure I like this pattern so I can crank the bodys and heads out... then stress over the mane and tails and eyes and cutie marks and oh god oh god oh god...
That being said... I might hand embroider the cutie marks... I just dunno if I have enough time. -panics-

Oh nice! I bet they'll sell really well. :D I never thought about carving a foam base and making a pattern from that - I want to do plushie making purely for fun, but making a pattern from scratch confused me. Doing it sort of fursuit style would make more sense to my brain! XD
I hope so. ;x; All my bills are riding on it. D:
And if you do it, don't add seam allowance! Subtract maybe a 1/4 of an inch. I dunno why it does that, but it really messed me up with my patterns from the base. >n< Doing it this way make SO much more sense to me also! I just can't wrap my head around how people see a shape and can go BAM THERE IT IS on paper. D:

Really? Strange! I wonder if it has something to do with the way foam squishes?
I know, 2D patterns blow my mind. I was taught how to do patternmaking for clothes last year with the draping method, and it suddenly makes sense! The only time I really use this knoweledge is for cosplay though. =P
