lol, I think ours was something like $2000 or so. We even got to pick the egg, then the bird store hatched and raised him. We let him imprint on me too, including me nursing and feeding him. After a few months, once he had fully grown all his feathers, and been weaned onto seed, we were allowed to take him home. He is so sweet and cute :3
