The story's about the cat Miezel and the dog Molly who are enemies. Both of them have cubs. One day, Miezel is shot down on a field and dies. Molly goes to the kittens who are hungry and alone. So she decides to take them to her place and feed them.

I already loved that poem when I was younger, it's so heart-warming and the end is really touching. I just read it again few days ago and wanted to draw something to it. It was a lot of fun to draw this.
