Being forced to act as a bodyguard for a very powerful crime lord([link]) as well as being treated like a fighting dog, leaves Corvyn in need of extra stitching-up quite often. Thankfully, his master's daughter Anya is quite different from her father, and takes it upon herself to make Corv's life at least marginally more bearable. She adores him like a big brother, even addressing him as such when her father is well out of earshot. Corv fully returns this affection, though he has trouble expressing himself, his face having been stitched in a way thta makes normal expressions difficult to manage.

He is terrible at stitching up any new wounds, so Anya has to help him out whenever he gets an injury that isn't like his permanent stitch-lines.
