Description: Taboo. It is seen as an act of damnation among the Villagers of Smarth. When one of their own has been found to be playing with such a word. There is nothing they can do, but assure that the rest of the youth don't become taken in by such an act. Unaware to the others, there is not just one youth who partakes in this. But she hasn't been found out, at least...not yet.
Can one truly survive in a time when wanting to be female, while being male or even being female, wanting to be male, could mean the end of one's life?
Sidenote: This one kind of dives into the background, a little, of our Main Character's family background. I'm not really into creating a lot of backstory to characters being that this has just started out. As it stands, Marcus and Clarice are from well to do families. Marcus is mainly from a family that was of aristocratic standing while Clarice was more of a case of she married into the family. One of those cases of trying to gain a footing in society. And as it was, she found herself taking a liking to High Society even if in the beginning it wasn't for her. But as we all know, Society changes us.
Nathaniel is a name I came up with for our main character since it seems to fit to the 1800s theme I'm going with for this.
As for the seedier crowd. Some are meant to be Prostitutes while the men dressed as women would be about the same, but catering to a male clientele. Even if it may seem farfetched.
Yeah.
Go figure that I'd use cross dressers in an 1800s period. -shrug- That's why Fiction/Non Fiction exists.
