Been a long time since I posted anything so I figured I'd stick this one up here. Halis is one of seven female assassins that serve the dragon kingdom in all the junk I write but never post anywhere. She holds the honor of being the very first of the seven to reach a skill level so far above the others of her kind that a new rank had to be created to categorize her. I finally settled on calling her group the Nightblades. Among her people she's the most aggressive and dangerous hand to hand combatant there is, second only to a one in ten million prodigy child who holds the position of the 6th Nightblade. They're not ranked according to skill but instead are simply numbered in the order they were brought into the the fold though if skill had to be brought into account she'd rank second among her dragon sisters.

Each Nightblade is given a special set of swords forged of a special alloy and cooled in their own blood. These swords take on the inborn nature of their owners as they are crafted and each Nightblade carries a different set of weapons best suited to their individual strengths. Halis' blades are called Brimstone and Caldera and have almost limitless control over the element of fire. When drawn the weapons slowly heat up until they reach a constant 1200 degrees and they work in unison to increase her natural powers over her element as well as grant her a special skill when used together.

Caldera, the vertically held blade is capable of creating lava tubes from the core of the planet to any point its tip touches upon the surface. Brimstone then is capable of drawing forth the magma and directing it according to her commands.

As a citizen of the dragon lands Halis is often given a wide amount of space by her peers. She's got a terrible temper, is quick to anger, and even quicker to beat someone half to death just for looking at her the wrong way. Most dragons just avoid her all together and those unlucky enough to have to work with her have to constantly stay on their toes to remain on her good side. She has a particular disdain for males, especially weak ones and currently has no mate, lover, or even any suitors because she refuses to submit herself to a dragon that can't best her in combat and has the bad habit of killing the few bold enough to make the attempt.
