Kobold Vermin (Kobalos)(Wayfarer Project)
Just doodling around to get down what the 'rat' kobolds in wayfarer would look like - I think I found something I like~
Kobold vermin are sort of the lower class of.. everything. They have rather low self esteem, but a lot of work ethic, and this is often put to use by particularly manipulative people to make loads of money for little investment.
Kobold vermin typically live in the dregs of cities, stealing what they can to get by and dreading the town's inhabitants (because to them they're nothing more than common vermin). They make very good thieves, and if they had the drive to do it, they could likely conquer some of the cities that they're more prevalent in with sheer numbers.

It's possible, though most cities would frown upon it, considering they tend to be a bit of a menace (what with the stealing of food and clothes and shiny things)
And I'd imagine it would take more than just one - they'd need proper organization and a small zealous group at least.
