Well there's another song by him that invaded my existence and made itself a part of my conciousness called "Reaction" that everyone must hear.

I can't thank him enough for letting me do this, and letting me post it in it's less than perfect state.
I reacorded this about... 8 months ago? and at the time I couldn't really get the mix right, there were problems with boominess and all this other tech. For my birthday I got Logic Pro 9 and decided to use it as a project to try and learn to use the program. It's a LOT better than what I came up with in GarageBand.
There are a lot of problems with this, almost all of them involving timing and togetherness of the instruments. I'm happy with the vocals (even though it gets a bit high) and most of the electric guitar, but the acoustic, bass and drums fall out of time on occasion. It's still listenable, but please forgive the musical transgressions. It's not meant to be publishable, I just REALLY REALLY EFFING LOVE THIS SONG.
Lyrics:
Reaction by Kobi Lacroix
There’s a city of warmth and strangeness
Deep in everyone’s mind
All the buildings and streets are famous
And fully custom designed
But I’ve wandered into the shadow
of something I shouldn’t have seen
Lose the pages, the costume, the makeup
I don’t belong in this play
The stage is lit with the flood-light kiss
But I can’t give out my heart this way
Let me free let me say what I feel
let me convince you that I’m real
Here I am
Never did I believe in magic
or silly potions and spells
But your love it’s just so dramatic
could it be anything else
And I swear I can feel a reaction
You touch me and I start to change
light me up with the fire of your music
I need to hear it anew
Sing that melody no one remembers
an old mythology lives in you
Cut me out of this madness and shame
Whisper the sound of your secret name
Here I am
All around me, the city noises fade to just a hum
A gentle tune, the coyote moon
The invitation drum beats won’t you come.
Don’t know why
It’s me they want to run
Will I taste a peculiar flavor
If i kiss you tonight
Will I turn into someone braver
Through the hell I invite
you and I at a stand with the twilight
Will shake away all our fears
Every star disappears from your eye-sight
But I will shine in you my dear
Heaven knows we can not be alone
Send out your starlight and make it known
Here we are

Well, you, as the arranger know exactly what you mean and what you want to improve or what you intended to do differently on some parts, but you can believe me...
Besides of some slightly flat tones in the accoustic guitar and maybe 1 short, slightly flat note at 1:57 I couldn't hear any flaws at all, and I have very good ears, if I might say so myself. (I'm sometimes tuning pianos by ear in my spare time^^)
But if you want to re-do it, great! I'll wait for it.
