-We all knew this would be a tight match from the start. With questions about Erie's toughness and resilience coming in the wake of numerous injuries, it's good too see the Tail Storm playing a more contact, defensive style.
-They got the quick lead and held on tight. You could really see Portland growing frustrated. Real solid game from backup center Luca Snowe and top draft pick Jerry Bigelow.

-Fawks Silvarin's play has been hot and cold this year, but when he's hot, he's hot! Kudos to Ramses, who maintains his perfect season after 8 successful starts.
-That'll be a tough loss for Houston to swallow. They've got the offensive power of a playoff contender, but something will have to be done about their troubles in goal.

-It took an All-Star calibre performance from Howling to finally shut down Bridgeport's dynamic offense. This one was a back-and-forth crowd pleaser that went right down to the wire.
-You gotta give credit to Las Vegas, coming back from a two goal deficit to win it in overtime. They kept shots to the outside, and made good on their chances.

-Quite an impressive show of resiliency to come back for Saskatoon tonight, on the road, against the top team in the FHL. Then what happened?
-Well the offense of Hamilton happened, they live for these situations and that's why they're so good in overtime. I know Parlett will tell us the power of his slapshot won the game, and Alekseev will say he was screened, but at the end of the day it's Hamilton coming away with the extra point, once again.

COLORADO SPRINGS GOAL: Petrov (4) - Vanderhoosen (9), Knows-His-Gun (8)
COLORADO SPRINGS GOAL: Brushtail (10) - Kennick (13), Petrov (13)
-The long awaited battle of the Raichus! Sparks and Colorado Springs got the edge in this one.
-Well Sparks didn't have Knows-His-Gun shooting against him, this guy's unreal. Scoring on right around 20% of his shots now through this game. And Victoria had a bit of a streak going into this game, hopefully for them this will be just a bump, and not the end of that road.

-Joshua Underhill had been a defensive forward primarily to this point, but from out of nowhere he gets a natural hat trick to start the game!
-Yeah, we sure didn't expect that! I know who else didn't plan for that and that's Jacksonville. If they're going to turn it around, these are the types of games they need to win from here on out.
Players recieving growth points
Silvarin - 2 (Three stars, hat trick)

Talk to a GM looking to add a goalie, (Paskhowl might be a good place to start, not sure if he's looking for a trade but if he traded aurelius for you then you could split time with PichuPal, and he'd be getting a stat bonus for his one defenseman any time he plays with you) and when you find one looking for a trade, have them make an offer to your GM
Hell yeah! I love meeting fellow Sloan fans! The first tune I heard from them was Underwhelmed off Smeared, and I was hooked. Money City is the song I listen to when I need to get pumped to play a game or get on stage. LOVE that song! Hell, I love every single song on every album! That's why they're my fave! ;o)
Dude, I didn't know you were from Canada! I've got some Canadian blood in me, and I've got a lot of friends from up there. One of my best friends lives in Victoria BC, and I know a bunch of folks from Montreal and Toronto.
I'll be up in Montreal in June for What The Fur (an awesome con), and I'll be running a Hockey Furs panel. If you can make it to the con let me know and we can hangout! ;o)

It's fun having a meeting of the Raichus like that happen, too bad I had to face such a great scorer. It's like a Raichu-lovers dream game since there were three of us playing in that one (Thicke being the other). Plus you've had the better season by far to this point, so I think we know which Raichu has been the better goalie (for now anyway).
Biggs and Snowie came up with some big goals for us! And K'gra had a great game on D! And lets not forget Spangler coming up big in net! And I even got to drop the gloves for a bit of a beef! Good night all around!
Portland played a great game. Such a close, tight battle. Props to their whole team. You guys are hardcore!

AWWW!!! Poor Beau...this is the second time in as many starts that he's had a good game, only to be let down in overtime. I still have my faith in him and won't hesitate to call his number.
His counterpart proved why I selected him for the ASG in my voting. Great jpb, Sven...you really earned your pay tonight, kid. As for my Bandicoots, I'm glad we got at least a point out of it but could've used the extra point with the way the Wanderers have been playing. Can anyone stop them?
