A long by-the-hour commissions for Merrilee-Porter of DA! Originally commissioned for 20 hours, finished in 15.5 paid hours. I did 2 hours of sketching off the clock in the beginning to get the sketch right, so actually finished in 17.5 hours total.
Some things about this piece! The character (Koji) is an angel, sitting in a window seat set into the wall of a dormer (the walls are slanted). The secondary light source is the character! His clothing has a soft glow to it. Lastly, this is an illustration out of a published book, which you can find more information on the author's website - http://christakinde.wordpress.com/

Breathtaking, as always! What really stands out to me in this piece is your skill with human anatomy and painting skin. Even for non-furry artists it's something that often poses a lot of difficulty, but you've made it look effortless here (though I'm sure it wasn't :P). And as usual your lighting is fantastic. Great job!
