Firelight shows Blaze her gratitude for her constant support and love. The kiss was spontaneous and unplanned. And it was wonderful.

I'm not going to say a lot about this because the picture stands for itself. I will say, however, that is the first time I've drawn Blaze in the updated style for uploading here. Not hard since her body is identical to Firelight's, but noteworthy nonetheless. Also, I've updated them both slightly to show the claws on their hands from now on. I feel that it looks more proper.
This is a perfect example of a picture I could never have tried when I was first starting out. The angle of the characters, the detailing, the perspective... these are all things that have come with time and lots of practice. I'm very proud of this picture.
One last note, to spare you all the suspense. Yes, Firelight and Blaze are more than sisters to one another. And yes, they do feel that deeply.

That means a lot to me. I don't exaggerate when I say this is my favorite drawing yet. I think I did well on the drawing yes, but like the drawing of Dsil and myself, there is FEELING in this drawing. A MEANING. A moment captured in time. It tells a story. It's not a picture OF something, like some of the request drawings I do. This is a picture... a story. A tale. Do you know what I mean?
Yea I know what you mean .... art made from the feelings you hold inside you always come our better simply because they really do mean a lot to you... Idk how to explain it, I just know what you mean, I get the same thing when I write poetry that has meaning behind it to myself.
And yes, I'll agree with you on saying this one is quite possibly your best yet ... its just so beautiful
