.....Termites up the butt.

The big towers on termite mounds are used for air conditioning; all the termites live underground, so I don't think there'd be any problem.

Oh, never knew that....but I am sure there are drones that serve as sentinals.

actually not. but there are some animals using the vent towers to hide from predators, mostly lizards.

I know the first run of the cards, and many images were cut to pieces to fit into the tiny windows of the card's images. I guess this one would also appear somewhere else outside card only? would be a pity.

Nope, it's going on a Territory card which is a landscape aspected card. The card box has a rough 2 wide by 1 high ratio. The vast majority of the artwork will be visible. I might have to shave a little off top and bottom to get it to fit, but I'm estimating 95% of the art will be on card.

ah, forgot about them landscape aspect cards. you make me curious, though. i guess it would be available via net only later?

This piece has that look and feel of a sketch of just an ordinary day had he been in Africa instead of the American frontier. What makes Russell's art special is his reverence for all nature: all the animals, Indian and white-man. You similarly show deep understanding and respect for all your art subjects.
