I am proud to post the very first picture I produced completely digitally, from start to finish. An up to date version of Whip in his anthro form. You can see how I matured over the years, grew a bit of fuzz on my cheeks, but I still love the warmth of the sun and... you can guess what my favourite colour still is.
It's so bloody cold here in England I wanted this picture to feel as warm as possible and I won't hide it, I'm happy with the results. Even if it's only cellshading, as I still haven't learned to do realistic, it's quite cute and pleasant to look at.
Thanks to Treekster for some much needed hints about colour harmony and to all the friends supporting me during this period.

Me: I bet that cape looks even more heroic when you fly. And the sideburns, guy, I'm loving 'em! Even your watermark is awesome. You wanted to make this picture warm, and with those colors, my gosh did it work. It makes me want to listen to this song so badly. Keep it up, you're really getting better!
Argen: No matter where and when the traveler went, he despaired not, for there was always the glow of his father, the sun, to smile upon him and wrap him in his warm, paternal love. Wherever there was the sun, there was the traveler.

It might be your first pure digital pic but to me it looks as if you've been drawing them for a long time. It just looks great and I like your style very much. The way you show all those little details, accenting different things and increasing the overall quality so much. You're really a great artist, Whip, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. *hugs tightly*
*gives a watermelon* To help keep you hydrated.
You really did a great job in getting this picture drawn Whip; the background, without lines to show distance and to emphasize the character, the character himself who's drawn in earthy but different tones, and the overall balance of the picture. Well done~
