This is my design for the upcoming character of Rerun in  Leo_Todrius 's Ghostbusters Regenesis story series. A description of the character follows:

An intelligent, sentient floating orb slightly larger than a soccer ball covered with strips of worn white cloth stitched together so everything stays more or less in place. Several small strips hang down from him, apparently having frayed or torn with age, though two of them are large and intentional. These resemble and act like arms ending in hands. It has no eyes, ears, or other features apart from a large often happily grinning mouth that sometimes betrays some mischievous quality.

One of its hands is always holding an ancient looking small black iron lantern that is quite solid, the flame within a flickering blue-green. It refuses to release the lantern, and as such can't pass completely through walls. However, the heavy item can be swung around with a great deal of force. It can also consume other ghosts and spit out ghastly orbs of spiritual energy.

The flickering flame of the lantern can induce a hypnotic state in humans where one begins reliving past events of their life. However, if the ghost has unleashed several of them into a room, reality can begin to physically twist into one's memories. If More than one person is caught up in its spell several people's experiences can begin merging and meshing.

The ghost claims that he can actually look like something else, namely a human with a large scythe that the lantern hangs from, but only on special occasions, when he feels like it, and when the great high one flips his wig and decides it's time wrap up the universe's existence.

On a side note, it has never had a name until dubbed "Rerun," and the ghost seems to enjoy chewing on beef jerky, the only food it will eat, often stealing it at convenient times.
