We're now doing our glitter/shimmer pawpads a bit differently. We realized that even though glitter/shimmer wouldn't rub off initially (We rubbed and rubbed and thought it was stuck on there good!) apparently through walking and handling things all weekend, it really does start to wear off! We don't know if it was with ALL pads, but we know we were having problems with the feral feline pads, though it may have something to do with the fact that they are smooth, instead of textured so had nothing to really hold the stuff on.
But instead of just casting the powders and stuff into the face of the silicone, we're now mixing it in with the actual silicone before it's poured, so even if the glitter/shimmer starts to wear, it's throughout the pad so there's no getting rid of it!
This does dull the glitter a bit, but not completely, as you can see from this example. It's hard to tell because we couldn't use flash (whited everything out lol) but you can still see plenty of glitter.
As always there is no extra charge for glitter or shimmer on our pawpads, all you have to do is request it when you order them in the webstore.
