Black fur is one of those things that isn't easy to do be it 2D or 3D, how black should it be ?
I'm not sure myself as I've seen in my dreams it go from a lighter black that it's almost grey to as dark as the night sky.
I end up leaving it to the artist as to how dark my fur is, seeing as I've seen it change from dream to dream.
Same goes for my size too, seems to vary from dream to dream, reason why I don't nail it down for folks.
I give folks a rough estimate of it, sure, but it goes from there often more times then not.

Yea, sorta, you can make a furry in a few games out there, Champions Online, DC Universe Online, City Of Heroes, Star Trek Online, takes a bit of tweaking to get it to look the way you like but it can be done, granted w/ Trek Online, you'll only see your avatar on planet-side missions not elsewhere.
Most of these games you'll be surrounded by human avatars, furry isn't that big of a segment to have a furry only MORPG, all you have to do is look at the failure of Earth Eternal to see how well it went over TWICE in a row no less, yes SL is an exception to the rule only because Furrys got on it early on.
A lot of the ones I mentioned are currently Free To Play, which is why I'm on them in the first place, or I wouldn't even bother at all, my $ is needed for moving from this place to a new one, can't be wasting any of it on online games at all, have to save it for deposit for new place & other stuff, like boxes for packing.
