Oh man this song.
I really like this song even though it is very similar to that one from sonic gen. But thats okay, I think, because i really like that song too. (This one was planned to be made like this even before i started the project. Thats how much i like that song...!)
But at the same time, it was sort of hard to do. There's so many elements to the song i had to consider. (Especially the myriad amount of instruments). Another thing is that i also had to consider which parts of the original to keep while i was 'reformatting' it. I could say that for a lot of these, but this one in particular was notable (and maybe seemingly) more difficult for me. It almost sounds like a completely different song from the original...!
Unfortunately, it sort of suffers from being a little too dense at times, which always happens when i use too many instruments at once. I tried to loosen it a bit. Dunno if it worked.
But even so, i'm pretty proud of this one~

Yeah it may be a little dense, but that could be fixed with some mixing, for example, some background strings could be more...you know...background. Is like everything is on the front trying to catch the attention. "Blurring" the background instruments with reverb could help too. Also, some string's attack are too fast and cause more tension that they should cause (I think...)
But overall, is very good and I'd be proud too, since this came up exellent. Very uplifting!

Thats a good point. I guess i had this mentality of "if you can't hear it then whats the point?", when i forgot that background things are in the background for a reason. I'll remember that when i do the next songs. And i knew there were knob i forgot to turn xD ah man. Ugh, sometimes, the things i forget. Maybe i should make some sort of checklist check list. Heh~
