I'll be slowly getting ready for my departure for Brazil soon. I'm so excited! I plan on traveling a lot next year and I'll be in Rio de Janeiro for Carnaval. I can't wait!
I think I made the lineart a little too thick for this piece. I'll let you be the judge. Normally Disney's linearts for their characters are either thin or REALLY thick (like for coloring books, etc). My idea at first was too have him playing a guitar or something on a terrace. But I changed my mind.
Yes, that's Christ the Redeemer in the background, drew that myself and shrunk it down for the pic. Jesus loves Rio!

Trust me...don't get too excited about coming to Brazil, specially if you're going to Rio de Janeiro or any other big city, it's not safe at all. Let your guard down for a second and you'll see what I'm talking about.
But if you *really* want to come to Brazil, you should try other places...the Iguaçu Falls for example.

My boyfriend lived in Rio for a number of years. He was mugged twice - once with a shard of glass and another time at gun point.
Rio can be a scary place - especially for someone who isn't familiar with the city.
... and not only do you have to worry about getting mugged, but worry about the cops as well! *laughs*
Your best bet is probably to travel with other people. Safety in numbers, and all that.
