This is my first really serious attempt at an Avian...came out pretty well. He's a Forster's Caraca, and I think I'll call him Farren. XD

Even though it's not a canine (common in your gallery) I actually like this very much. I think you did a pretty good job, especially with the eyes. ^^

Birds are actually somewhat easier to draw than wolves, I think...at least for me. Once you get the basic features down, it isn't so hard, like I thought it would be. ^^ Thank you for your comment.

I like eagle eyes very much for no reason hehehe... I also forgot to mention there that the beak is also pretty cool ^^ It must be easy once you get the basics down, but i am still far from calling myself an artist. XD
