So.. the story here is.. my friend Ninnin had a birthday on the 16th. <33! I tried and tried to draw him something, fucked it up every time, got frustrated, and didn't draw today. I needed to do something to keep myself working and not get an art block.
Not reffed, I wanted to go for the lanky, stlyized look.
[I lost a bag of badges at MorphiCon, hers included, I wonder if anyone has seen them..]
I got home from Trader Joes, turned on rockDocs [one of my fave shows] and SAT THERE start to finish on this piece. Disipline. Ugh. I like this piece. Back to commissions now.

oh my god. like Nemphyths, me and
betelguese just spent... 10 minutes staring at this in awe. your details are completely fucking amazing. the scaley feet, the paws, the muscles, the wings, that fucking AWESOME expression....!!!!!!! kami this is completely and unconditionally fucking amazing. i am so, so thankful. what an amazing surprise, i'm just... i'm just in awe. a thousand faves and thank you's, girl. i wish i could have this inked on me O_O thank you so, so so so much! and the title... can i borrow that?
Oh, don't worry about that, it's also my fault for being distant like this - maybe I should put AIM to sign me in as I start up my system, I've been so much into IRC only... I was having hard time last spring anyway [hence the break I took from ze Internets and removed my galleries], but things have really been looking up.
