The second theme of home, but the present. While Purity was serene and nostalgic, this tune is dark and somber. To me it sounds like something you'd hear in Silent Hill, more specifically the song Dances with Night Wind. Done on fl studio using reFX Nexus, Alchemy, Z3ta+ and effects.

Agreein with the silent hill aspect. Sounds alot like the type of stuff on the OSTs.
Being a huge fan of the game, I seriously approve of this.

I also happen to be a fan of the series myself, and this song was partially inspired by Homecoming (hence the title) and Dances with Night Wind (hence the ending). I'm rambling again; thanks! ^^

You weren't kidding when you said it would sound like Akira's work. The main difference I hear is that his was more straightup sorrowful/scary while your tunes are more serene.

I think I can see/hear a bit of what you're talking about...though it doesn't really sound dark at all to me. Maybe its just me, though...even though I understand you weren't goind for full-on hardcore pitch black dark. However, it DOES sound lovely overall. =3

Thanks! And I've kind of been wanting to do a pitch black dark song, though I'd have to see what I have in my sound libraries to see if I'm even capable of doing that. XD

If I may make a few suggestions, though? Perhaps if you have it...something with a dark choir in the background, low booming drums, and pipe organs. X3
