Another picture from my recent camping trip. Our camp set up, a nice fire on the go, and my mate calmly relaxing next to it. Happy days...
And yes, we do have a small plastic bag of kindling from a store. We took that along solely in case we couldn't find any decently dry wood around. As it happens, we found plenty of usable wood, and got the fire going without using the bag...Always have a Plan B!

It was quite nice actually. We were well into the woods, I don't think anybody had been to that particular spot in years...undisturbed moss over pretty much everything, and plentiful firewood scattered about. Nice running stream about 5 minutes in one direction....Loved it!
I used to ride though areas like that. Then I focus on college. My last ride was memorable. Full out gallop though a dense thicket and I miscue and caught my knee on a tree. I hit the ground on the other side of my mount. I rode eight miles back with a hurt leg and a dislocated right shoulder. Still fun as hell.
