This is a photo I took of a spectacle at the Mizuakari lamp festival. What can I say? I'm glad I managed to get out and catch this particular festival.

If there's one country that makes me feel like I'm living in the future, it's Japan. Taken at an 8-second shutter speed. This set-up of bamboo lamps and plastic flowers was a pretty colorful scene. I like how it's futuristic appearance contrasts with the old statue of Kato Kiyomasa in the background. ^..^
