By-the-hour painting for Xiongmao that got WAY out of hand! XD Originally commissioned for 8 hours, spend 11.5 hours on it. Normally I don't go that far over time, but I was really enjoying working on it, and I grossly underestimated how long it would take.

The lighting turned out really nice! I can't get over how well you drew the scales, especially on that one arm. All those curly hairs look amazing, too. Just trying to imagine what foo dog hair would feel like. xD

Wow.

Rarely am I blown away by a piece of art, but I'm staggered by this. It's fantastic. The posture, the expression and the fur. The mane and tail and that looked like roses in the image preview, haha and that's why I clicked. I'm amazed!
