Lol, but seriously though, that's an interesting take on the character, with him/her having a large white beard instead of a puffy and fluffy chest tuft. XD

Nice work on the details of the furniture/upholstery in the bathroom for this pic, most notably the mirror and the bright and shiny, reflective details overlapping the renamon and the shower tiles. :)

It was also a challenge too making the reflecting image of the renamon in the correct pose.

In the original show renamon was a girl everywhere except the german version. The funny thing is when people freak out because they see a male renamon because they think all renamons are girls

That's funny, I thought digimon were supposed to be non-gendered, its just the voice actors that made it sound male/female.

they had genders in the scripts but because it was a kids show there were never any romances (other then impmon having a crush on renamon)

I wouldn't know, everytime I saw the show it was dubbed over so I had no idea what was going on.

not even with subtitles? ehh i did't watch digimon too much when i was a kid, i watched most of my anime on toonami before i learned how to find stuff on the internet

The language and subtitles were both in arabic, and by the time I moved out of the country it lost my interest.

For most people they caught a glimpse of digimon, played Pokemon, but watched yugioh

For me, I briefly saw digimon, lived and breathed pokemon, and collected yugioh cards (but never watched the show)

same with pokemon and digimon, but yugioh was quite popular in 3rd grade so it was fun for a while but when toonami started airing everything like yuyuhakisho and other stuff (besides dragon ball z everybody watched that). and when you think about the number of artist these days that have become inspired by pokemon it outnumbers other fanbases by a longshot

Yeah, ever since I posted this, many people have told me that fact. Funny thing though, I never heard Renamon speak in english, german, or japanese. I've only heard its voice in Arabic, and it was too androgynous for me to determine its gender.

To be honest, we judge the gender of a digimon by the voice in the series. There's actually no description of a digimon's gender anywhere so technically, they can be either. Just our imagination all along :D

Renamon has different gendered people doing its voice in various countries.
In some countries Renamon is played by female, in some countries Renamon is played by male, and you also have to count that there has never also been a single digimon of every type of digimon, there are many of each kind, meaning there is bound to be as many males as females even if you don't count the voice of the Renamon that is common through-out the show.

I think that happens with Male Renamon then. ^^;

You aren't far off with Renamon.
Supposedly, in the German dub of Digimon, Renamon's character is male, though in the US dub, the voice is female (the quotes don't really help support any gender, so it's plausible for both)

Since most think of the female voice, people think of Renamon as female, and done a metric ton of porn about it.
Though, if Renamon is male, it is possible.
