Her name is Windy Sky and she was raised by Wheat and Barley Miller, earth ponies. She's especially useful in making sure a good wind blows and she's an expert at running the mill, and for a time she truly enjoyed doing it.
However, lately she's felt the longing to get out of her one-pony town and see the world, going wherever the wind takes her. She also has a desire to learn her origins, how she came to be left at the mouth of the Everfree forest with nothing but her scarf and a nametag, but it's not as high priority as just getting a change in scenery.
She's blind as a bat--good thing she has glasses/goggles.
