Yup, you better start running.... she's up bright and early and ready to play! It's been a long while since I got some art of Kala, and Maeii did a wonderful job bringing her to life once more! I have some much older art of Kala that my lil bro
Mgeni did for me back in 2008 I'll post later (if I can remember where I put it). Kala is a very special character to me, and has been with me for a very very long time, so every now and then I like to see her drawn, it brings back memories <3 Here's another pic of her here if anyone wants to see more. Heh, she's pretty cute; although I probaby wouldn't think that if face-to-face with her; especially given that ready-to-pounce pose and mischevious smirk... I somehow doubt having a reasonably sized lioness pinning oneself down would really inspire thoughts of cuteness. Your advice on beginning to run is probably best taken rather than ignored.
But I digress; at least I can say she's cute from a safe distance. The detail paid towards her curled tail in preparation to flick it to the other side (or so I assume) deserves particular respect; since that's an actual sign of playfulness/curiousity in actual felines, if I recall correctly.
