The world of S.O.S is a vast and expansive universe that is filled with a variety of species.

The Shordra are a race of Shark-like sentient life-forms that live in the deserts of Siravia. Physically, they resemble large Sharks, about 12 feet in length with cement gray skin, four purple eyes, and black nails, underbelly and tails. Each individual member also has a variety of strips, spots, or rings unique to the individual. Differences between males and females are fairly noticeable, beyond the difference in gender specific genitals, males posses a more beak-like skull, while females possess a more rounded skull. The biggest difference, however, and the most prominent are the head fins that the Shordra possess. Males have two large fins on the sides of their heads, while Females possess a single fin on the top of their heads. Once again the exact shape of said fins is different for every Shordra.

Shordra are noted for their exceptional physical prowess. They are famous for the nickname Ground Sharks for their natural ability to "swim" through dirt and rock. This constant digging in through rock has also given them immense physical strength and dexterity. Although, they are also one of the few species on Siravia that can't manipulate Aura, which is a major handicap.

The Shordra are a powerful yet peaceful species steeped in tradition and follow a strict code of loyalty. They are a race of guardians and will never be the first to start conflict, but they will defend themselves if need be. A Shordra's life goal is to find something they are willing to give their lives to protect. When they find something worth defending: a home, an object, a person, they will dedicate their lives to protecting it. This dedication coupled with various natural strength make them natural bodyguards.

Like any other species on Siravia, when a Shordra allows themselves to be corrupted by Dark Aura they will become Demons. Demonic Shordra (not pictured here) tend to sprout large serated back fins and boney spikes on their shoulders, as well as the typical darkening of the skin and eye color changing to yellow, two traits all Demons share. Aside, from increased aggression and malice (which is a common trait for most Demons) Demonic Shordra will usually become almost feral and lash out at anyone (making them perfect as soldiers for other Demons and Archfiends).
