Oh nothing much. I think that last part blends together a little too muddily. And also the middle part with barely anything happening rubs me the wrong way, as if there is something that could be done to make it better, but i don't know what it is yet.

For me' theres enough things happening here, and as you say, is perfectly enjoyable. Now if you want more action, maybe you could add some percussion, like a militar drumroll or some heavy wardrums. Or some long-noted brass in the background, that's what I'd do. I was thinking in asking permission to do a version with those elements but I already used that card xD
Mmm.. I was thinking about percussion, but i went against it. I think it holds more of the 'pure' feeling that way, at least, for the way it's arranged now. I had to look up 'militar(y) drumroll' cause i forgot what that was, but i think if the song was done somewhat differently, more like the paper mario 2 opening, it would work pretty well, as well as with the things you've suggested.
Oh don't be so modest. You can always arrange a version in private if you do feel like you're mooching a bit too much. Remixes are remixes, regardless of if they belong to a person you know or not.
Besides, if it really concerns you, as long as you ask permission in advance, you have my permission to post. I like to try and help when I can, and it's the least i could do.
(but even then, don't forget about that 1 post per week rule you've got to hold yourself to [until i feel your at an adequate level of composing i guess?])
