Representing a substantial but temporary genre change, this is a little introduction section for something that I'll get to releasing soon (or at some point within the calendar year).
There's a song called "Elements" I'm writing just now that I sort of wanted to name "Elements Part One" as a reference to Stratovarius, but was hesitant because standing on its own, the title made no sense. Fortunately, as the introduction grew I realized that it would be better to separate it into its own section, and so this short piano and string piece got the title instead in a way that was actually justifiable.
I thought I'd upload it separately, before I had finished the rest of the song, so that people who liked gentler music could enjoy it on its own without getting a massive shock at the distortion hit that will happen at about the 2:11 mark.

Wait, you were worried about me being surprised by an intro like that suddenly exploding into metal when the song wakes up on part two of the combination track? I thought you knew this genre. I mean, if I can handle Kamelot's "Solitude", Helloween's "Irritation" (though that one might be a joke,) Angra's "Unfinished Allegro" and "Deus le Volt!", Sonata Arctica's "...of Silence", and that's not even counting when it happens in the middle of an actual song such as Shaaman's "Innocence"....
Anyway, that's beside the point; you're targeting one of my weaknesses here by going soft like this, and it's beautiful and I love it :) though I still anxiously await to see how this leads into Rediscovery Part II: The New Mythology, of course.
