we finally began working on portraits today in my 'portrait' class. I only like this half, so that's what you get. the other side has a scary dead eye because I didn't place it right the first time and then tried to move it over after everythning else was finished. . . um.

I can't stop laughing at the term "scary dead eye". Now I'm picturing Sam with this scary dead eye, like this: And he's making the sound that he posted in his comment above me.
Anyway, it looks just like him! Cross hatching is fun. Very nice job on creating depth, especially around his mouth/chin there.
