Nose shields, officially called the Unaa, which resemble fingernails. The shape and use differs for all cuedows.

...that I decided to remake, since it was partially done to honor a fellow artist (EG, the cute fox you see there) who I hadn't heard from in a while. The two-legged creatures are my creations, the "mount" going by the name Leroy (his name, not the species name).

Nein. They are not earth creatures at all.

...though some breeds DO have monotreme/marsupial-like characteristics, though this isn't one of them.

They is called Glydows, a type of cuedow whose hind legs are wings.

...no I don't know why I'm fond of cuedows with weird anatomies.
