These are my festive eastern dragons, I blended them a bit with Fu Lions, they were made in time for New Years (and christmas which was their original purpose years and years ago..but were revamped for this site)

The name is actually a mix of Japanese and Chinese..as the full Chinese for winter stuff would have had the word "dong" in it and well.. <.< come on we couldn't help but giggle. (so for a teen/everyone site..we just couldn't)

"Young Toji Fu Lung need immense amounts of sleep, but when they are awake they are quite energetic. As a result, they can be found sleeping all over the place during the New Year's festival, usually far before midnight ever comes; they usually can't make it to 11 PM, but they try their hardest. Their customary task is usually to spread the confetti about. Some speculate that staying awake until midnight on New Year's is a passage to adulthood for Toji Fu Lungs.

Toji Fu Lungs are the centerpiece of New Years' festivals. These creatures seem to conveniently only appear around that time. Nobody knows where they go for the rest of the year. During this time, Toji Fu Lungs are known to toss out grey confetti, symbolizing the previous year's problems and concerns. When the clock strikes midnight, they begin tossing out colorful confetti, symbolizing hopes for a fun and stress-free year. Toji Fu Lungs also exhibit another interesting behavior: after the New Year's festivities have ended, they begin slinking around the sleeping town, stealthily replacing broken and discarded objects with new ones. Nobody has figured out where they get their source of new items, as some of the items replaced are hard to find, expensive, or even one-of-a-kind."
