Done on brown paper with colored pencils, ink and white gel pen. Kinda hard to tell but the bottom of the background gradient is this dark purple/red color. :)

Yeah, they do look a whole lot nicer in person than on a screen. Regardless of my scanner being silly sometimes and messing with the colors, there is also tiny details that are lost. Like, I think my blending, especially furred parts, comes out less smooth and more blurry no matter what res I scan it at.
