Who could imagine that?
When i've seen her for the first time it was during the heat of battle, when our DragonFlight joined others to stop the intent of Malygos The Spellweaver.
I will never believe that the Blue Aspect had recovered from his previous madness: his actions led to so much death and pain to deny all the original meaning of being an "Aspect".
When i saw her, i simply could not allow her to die for a so useless reason: the crusade led by Malygos had already caused too much suffering.
I fought and won against her, but then i chose to retire from the battlefield.. guarding my prisoner into a cave.
With the end of the battle i asked and found understanding by the wise Korialstrasz for my short desertion, while she returned to her kind.
Her name is Cinigosa.
A name that i was struggling to force it out of my head.
There was too much to heal and re-build... but i could not stop to look her among the Nexus's ruins while her scattered Flight gathered around Arygos and Kalecgos..
She was a very young dragoness, with just a few hundreds years of life and experiences.
If you're not a dragon, you will be surprised how my kind deal with the matters of love: i can say that we're surely less "conservative" then many mortal races.
Just look at my beloved queen Alexstrasza, well known to have had four consorts, and loving each one of them.
I was surprised when Cinigosa came to find me.. full of questions and doubts, her kind needed to repopulate itself and she never had a mate.
I suppose that some older blue dragons suggested her to search advise for that: after all as Red Dragon, i'm a patron and connoisseur of life and love.
What happened into a snowy woods was probably not planned by that older blue dragon.
The consequences of our act were uncertain at first : mixing the dragon breeds was a sick experiment of some black dragons and even if it was just a non-magical natural union of only two breeds it could raises problems..
But the Blue DragonFlight was too focused and worried about who (and how) elect as a new Aspect.
And when i confessed to the Queen Alexstrasza..
She could punish a being for loving?
Her reply was a single stroking of understanding with her large muzzle against my own..
However i and Cinigosa had to stay apart, taking care of our own duties .. and the Blue dragons would keep an eye on our progeny to check their differences and learn the younglings how to control them.
When it was the day of hatching my hearth and mind weren't filled with concerns: just an immense sense of pride and joy.
As Red Dragon i will be ever on the front-line, fighting with my brothers and sisters, but Azeroth will see also the gifts and the fruits of the power that we guard..

d'awww the purple dragonflight was born! so that's where spyro came from! lol, jk jk, that baby's adorable, I love mixing two of the dragonflights together, the offspring are always guarded, like a bronze dragon with a non corrupted(in my RP the father is not wrathion but another uncorrupted black dragon) black dragon, Nozdormu kept an eye on the clutch's futures veeeeeery carefully, and making damned sure the old gods couldn't hold the little ones, bronze with black...uhhhh....brass? xD I never figured out a name for them
Cool to see a long comment! X3 Yeah, many said "it's spyro"XDXD It came from a nice roleplay done with a friend, then i wrote some pieces of stories about the red character ^^ I really would like to read your RP text (or fanfic) x3
And despite never happening in the lore, the hybrid concept it's not per se something of impossible (chromatic dragons are done so if i remember well, even if magic... and Chromatus was planned to breed with Kirygosa)
I was so angry about how Blizzard wanted to RUIN the warcraft dragons <.< First the absurd idea that the Aspect lost their power to stop Deathwing, something that go against ALL that was wrote in the previous books that explain well the true purposes of the Aspects and the dragonflights.
Then in the last book they "disband" the whole blue dragonflight as political entity/organization O.o
A civilized dragon culture, master of ancient knowledges and aware of the dangers of the worlds that disband ... because Blizzard was bored with dragons (they said it <.<)
That's pure idiocy, we've to think that in every situation, our personal dragon OC will keep on fighting for the right side knowing that the destiniy of the world it's also on their shoulders v.v
And despite never happening in the lore, the hybrid concept it's not per se something of impossible (chromatic dragons are done so if i remember well, even if magic... and Chromatus was planned to breed with Kirygosa)

Picture of the parents and I'll put a story connected with it as well for you, I'll get right to work on it, and yeah, I quit wow mostly because they kinda bullshitted the most EPIC lore characters ever, the aspects and dragonflights, dragons should NEVER loose immortality, they've always been immortal and wow goes...: NOPE NOT IN HERE
Take your time ^^ However i've read that Knaak is writing a series of ebook novels "dawn of the aspects" to give them a bit of the space that they needed v.v I doubt it will be translated in my country (even if we had many of the dragons's books) and i will search it in english.
Italy.. and it's tragic here.. I've personally met and spoke 2 times with the (only) translator for the books, and now he's forced to
1) translate only the most recent books (to make advertise for the game) and delay the older
2) according to the new non-english Blizzard law, that all the names have to be translated in the local language, a number of cool english surnames and terms are forced to be translated in weird and absurd names, impossible to adapt well.
(and add the fact that they were forced to put a dialectal voice for the trolls into the game... and had to do with an almost COMICAL one (Naples) O.o
expecially nothing else could be more FAR from a fantasy creature)
AT LEAST they can't ruin too much Starcraft <.< (i've still to play Hearth of Swarm, but i've read good non-spoiler reviews)
