Alas, Radio Comix have pretty much become fanzines, finanically speaking. They come out regular, but can't pay squat.I got bills to pay - I can't afford to spend my days drawing comics that earn no income.

I should've seen that coming a mile away. The, ugh, wimpy boy in the previous part should've been the big clue. Just when I thought I knew you, Karno, you throw a change up.

This is a hoot. I love the humour and the text! Bravo!

They do all manner of offbeat concepts there touching on more mature subject matter. The Sandman, Fables and Preacher are all good examples.
A world where Wars are farcical Media events that use anthro 'War Horses' might be something they may actually be interested in.

Just what I was going to suggest, actually. Vertigo sounds perfect for this storyline, and you would barely have to censor anything.

There's always the online subscription model like Jay Bernal does, but I don't know about the related hassles to say if it's worth it or not.

Partial agreement with DOPR5 up there. Most 'oppressed furry' content has little point besides how utterly bad and evil humans are, but if you remove that element from this one, you still have a strong story here.

Privatization and corporatization of war is very real already, not just the chicken little fantasy of the paranoid. When it's treated like a business, then like any business, the two primary goals are to maximize profits and keep it running.
