Tyler introduces Marisa to the members of his family. Just a little scene I thought of yesterday while at work and sketched up instead of the comic I was going to do to finish off the 'Fighting Words' scene uploaded the other day.
Just a few little story notes to add to this. Erica is actually Tyler's step mother and Brandon, the roadrunner guy, is his step brother. Rex is Tyler and Brandon's half brother and is a gecko/roadrunner mix giving him an appearance like a feathered dinosaur, something Rex takes great delight in. Mark, the coyote, is the boyfriend of Brandon and is living with the family and rooming with his lover after being kicked out of his own home. The pair are planning on moving out after Brandon finishes college. In the meantime, Mark works and does the cooking in the household. Erica isn't much of a cook with Tyler often describing her skills as 'being able to burn water.'

Yeah, I paired those two because of the old Roadrunner cartoons, though in real life the coyote probably never pursues the roadrunner for food. I had a similar idea in pairing the gecko and the roadrunner as roadrunners are predators themselves and feed on lizards like geckos and snakes too.
I don't do many of these character pieces. They're so much more difficult to find a good concept than pinups or more adult images but I need to get back to drawing these characters in particular soon.
