I've always had a thing for drawing these lava-lamp gobs. I wanted them to sneak their way in and mingle with the other, swirlier, style of smoke. I like they way it looks almost like little hands, crawling up from darkness towards the white, with the median gray layer being somewhat akin to the ocean
