The scene that explains the origins of the war between the Vampires and Lycans, where Viktor killed his vampire daughter for mating with the Lycan Lucian. Lucian was chained to the floor, struggling to escape and save his vampire lover, but fails and watches her die from the powers of sunlight. Lucians Lycan anatomy is very similar to the anatomy of this lion character, minus the Lion's head. That likeness and the scene reminded me of Underworld.
Oh that one...one of my favorite scenes in Underworld - Lucian looks so powerful, but helpless! The other favorite is where Michael nearly changes in the police car. I wasn't thinking of Underworld when I drew this though. A friend was making an art booklet and he said "Draw a lion!". I thought it'd be fun to have him thrown in a dungeon by his enemies, the wuffies.
