Also, yes, it's the city. I use "NYC" to people who aren't from here, but when you're here and you're talking about the city, you call it the city.

Yeah, but come on, they're not even trying. I've had the new poutine they started serving at Wendy's and Burger King and A&W and it's all the same pre-packaged shit, they probably all get it from the same company that makes it, and it's terrible.

You will fucking love Montreal, I recommend. But I think the best cheese curds come from the many acadian farmers markets in NB. Learn a little french, try your best, it will be fun times.

All you need are french fries, cheese curds and some delicious gravy. Put the curds on the fries and pour that hot gravy down to melt those curds.

Never get poutine from a nation-wide fast food chain (aka Wendy's, McDonalds, etc.) it's HORRIBLE >.<

The best kind of poutine is to go to a chip wagon (one of those food trucks) that make their own fries, or go to a speciality restaurant that specializes in poutine ;) They have a great restaurant in Montreal that I went to, La Banquise, they have 20 different types of poutine there O.o

And it's just not poutine without the cheese curds ;) It HAS to have the cheese curds. Shredded cheese is an abomination for something that's supposed to be considered poutine XD
