I really like this, but you've made one mistake. One that has been committed by cartoonist and artists for decades. The bulb of a thermometer goes in the mouth.
Of course, he looks as if he's been mainlining NyQuil, so he probably hasn't noticed that his temperature is actually "room temperature!"
