My friend scanned a picture, then I did. All the differences were pretty amazing. XD Anyway, if your thinking about getting a scanner/upgrading, or just generally are interested, here's some scanner differences between an HP 3-in-1 and a Canon Canoscan. :P Both are MINORLY edited in photoshop. :V

all in one machine scanners are always pieces of shit. throw that out and burn it all. or just keep it for faxin'...

Ya pretty much that's how I feel about them. If your doing traditional work that your not reworking pretty much entirely in digital, it really ruins how your art comes out. :X

I LOOOOVE my garage sale brick of a scanner. Its old it takes like 5 minutes to scan each picture but its the best scanner Ive ever had as far as picking up most of the drawing. Astra 3400

I miss mine! I had some really old brick too, but one day it said DEATH. ;A; But the Canoscan ain't bad, I'd love to see if I can get an upgrade in the future though!

Many different scanners do many different things, you just gotta pick your poison. :P
