Chock full of choc chunks to cheer you up from the kitchens of  draaz

These are super yummy!

1 Cup Shortening (Butter Flavored Crisco works best for this recipe, do not use real butter!)
6 oz Cream Cheese, softened
1/2 Cup Granulated Sugar
1/2 Cup Packed Brown Sugar
2 Eggs
Zest of 1 Medium Orange
1 Tsp Vanilla
2 Cups All-Purpose Flour
2 Tsp Baking Powder
1 Tsp Salt
1 1/2 Cup Semisweet Chocolate Chunks
OPTIONAL; 1/2 Cup Chopped Nuts

Pre-heat oven to 350°
Cream together shortening, cream cheese, and sugars.
Add eggs, orange zest, and vanilla; beat well.
Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt; add to creamed mixture.
Mix well.
Stir in chocolate chunks.
Drop from teaspoon, 2 inches apart on un-greased cookie sheet.
Bake for 10-12 minutes. Makes about 6 dozen.
