The first of a series of experimental pieces that revolve around the idea of nightmare entities and disturbing imagery. You know, those horrible faces that pop into your thoughts JUST as you're trying to sleep or upon reaching a pleasant moment in your dream which thus becomes totally ruined. Freakin' things.
This is University work, and if we can imagine that last semester's theme was cables and digital avatars, then this semester's theme is nightmares. I have a few social studies classes that I can bring it into as well. Love it when things like that just kind've work out! But yes, as a warning, my gallery is going to have a distinctly rotten flavor for the next while. Sorry!
MOD NOTE: I have this down as 'general' because I wouldn't consider it gory or violent. Its just an anatomically awkward form, not to be confused with anything bloody. However, if its disturbing nature would better fit under 'mature', I'm fine with changing it.

Beautiful, ne? <:3 I find them entirely horrifying. I suppose I'm tackling this subject because I want to (at least psychologically) understand WHY I'm afraid of things like that, yet not something situation like... say... being chased in a sea of sharks which IS a dangerous situation. Silly mind doing silly things.
