Long overdue commission for

This was originally supposed to be a con sketch... but i guess with a year's interest added on it became a finished picture :P
This is sort of intended to be wedding lingerie, but i'm not sure if it's quite ornate enough. ... but it's definitely somewhat fancy!
I think it looks pretty good. Like, i'm really happy with how this came out. I tried something different, inking some parts and shading some parts... i like the contrast (aside from the empty space of those stockings... but yeah)
Leasara, i know it has been ages, but i hope this was worth waiting for!
If i had done it when i was supposed to it would have been a crappy sketch. I'll reassure myself that way i guess... :S

I was having a lot of trouble with that arm, so i reffed my own arm. By feel, since i don't have a mirror in here... but it helped. I encourage people to do that! You've got a body, you might as well make use of it! :D

Holy crap, THIS is the most gorgeous thing ever. XD You get better with every piece. I really love the contrast of the ink vs shading, though the massive white space in her stockings kind of threw me off at first [like you mentioned]. It's definitely not too distracting, though, I really really like it. The pose, the lingerie...it's classy. :D Really pretty hair and I love the flowers.

The way you texture and light with graphite is really amazing. Your mastery of curves and (not-dumb) fabric equally so.
Amusingly, I consult my own body as well.. though it's sometimes hard to translate into, say, pony anatomy. But it does help. I never had one of those wooden artist dolls (I made it to the age of 20 without realising what they were for, actually). Anyway, yeah, fantastic work. It shows that you put care into your work. Maybe I'll have to commission you some time. :3

I love the anatomy around the heels-hooves here ;; It has just the right amount of realism in with the style.
You tend to look so strange staring at yourself and feeling around, but honestly it totally helps with referencing XD Sometimes there are just not pictures at hand for certain troublesome angles/poses. I tend to tell my brother to show me his arm/hand at certain angles, and as an artist also, he usually humors me.
